Dr. Stonisch has the education and necessary experience which provides exquisite results that are paramount to any cosmetic procedure. She has been certified for nearly two decades by her peers at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and is one of only 36 women in the world to achieve accreditation. Dr. Stonisch is also one of the first dentists in Southeastern Michigan to specialize in aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Stonisch is the innovator of the latest and greatest technique which allows patients to actually try on a smile possibility, before the cosmetic procedure begins. Dr. Stonisch also provides patients with “Heart Smart” dental cleanings at her Grosse Pointe Woods practice, the Faircourt Dental, Smile Enhancement Studio. “Research has shown that there are links to bacteria in the oral cavity and the overall health on the entire body,” Stonisch says. This” Heart Smart” cleaning uses laser technology to improve not just oral health, but heart and body health as well, by reducing bacteria.

Meet the Doctor
Recognized as a leader in the field of cosmetic dentistry in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Dr. Mary Sue Stonisch is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. She is a graduate of the Kois Dental Center Advanced Dental Education master program and a graduate of the Engel Implant Institute. Dr. Stonisch continues her dental work on staff at St. John, Bau Mont and Henry Ford Hospitals. She is a lecturer at the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry and is also an faculty member of Oakland University William Bau Mont School of Medicine.

Dr. Timothy F. Kosinski
Grosse Pointe, MI Dentist
Dr. Timothy Kosinski is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and serves on the editorial review board of Reality, the information source for esthetic dentistry, Contemporary Esthetics and Clinical Advisors, and became the editor of the Michigan Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently President of the Michigan Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kosinski received his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and his Mastership in Biochemistry from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kosinski has received many honors including Fellowship in the American and International Colleges of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International. He is a member of OKU and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Kosinski was the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Alumni Association’s “Alumnus of the Year,” and in 2009 received the Academy of General Dentistry’s “Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition.” Dr. Kosinski has published over 90 articles on the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry and was a contributor to the textbooks, Principles and Practices of Implant Dentistry, and 2010’s Dental Implantation and Technology. He was featured on Nobelbiocare’s Nobelvision and lectures extensively.
